Outward Bound’s approach is Covid-19 prepared

Dear learning partner,

As many of you, we in Outward Bound are very aware of the impact Corona (Covid-19) has on our communities, our health, (y)our business activities .

While the corona semi lock-down may have clarified the possibilities of online meetings, it no doubt reconvinced most people of the creative strength of person-to-person contact.
In case you wonder how we look at this disruptive phase for the training sector, check out our newsflash here or on Linkedin.

With this writing, we want to inform you that we prepared ourselves to continue to support your learning and development without compromising on health (be it at a personal, team, company or community level of well-being).

Combining Outward Bound’s best practices in process facilitation and safety management, we revised our offer in the light of the emergent virus threat. Our operating standards now integrate high-quality social learning with requirements regarding physical distancing and related prevention measures. Our prevention committee continuously adjusts OBB’s guidelines in order to avoid and mitigate unnecessary risks throughout our entire operation. This includes reworking training  activities, approaches to equipment, site and facility management, health screening and reinforced attention to specific target groups.

Therefore, be assured that we maintain to be outstanding in our methodology.

Teaming and organizing continue to hinge on the quality of collaboration. And we are looking forward to do so with you!

Don’t hesitate to contact us in case you want further information or if you have any questions.

Thanks again for your trust.

Kind regards,
In name of the whole team,

Kobe Smits
CEO Outward Bound Belgium™
