Yes! Outward Bound literally and figuratively gets people moving. Together, we step out of the daily routine to explore talents, motivations, and obstacles—guided by the inspiration of an outdoor environment.
On May 28th, we’re heading into the city, giving you the chance to experience firsthand what Outward Bound—or rather City Bound—can mean for you and those around you:

SO, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
Together with a small group of invitees, we’ll take you up to the rooftop of De Hoorn, only to descend the building from the outside. Not by stairs or elevator, but with a securely anchored rappel from the 8th floor—offering a stunning view over the Sluispark and the city of Leuven.
Because a breathtaking view offers a broader perspective. Stepping out of your comfort zone sparks inspiration. Sharing that experience with others builds connection.
Once you’ve reached the ground, an Outward Bound trainer will be waiting to help you “land” safely—both physically and mentally. No action without reflection. Experience needs time to sink in, so that it can resonate long into the future.
DE HOORN?
That’s the restored Stella Artois brewery—now a protected heritage site—transformed in 2012 into a creative one-stop hub for events, meetings, hospitality, co-working, and living.
A brewing ground for the best of Leuven city life. A space where living, working, celebrating, and being all come together. Just a stone’s throw from the city center, in Leuven’s new hotspot: the Vaartkom.

At noon, we’ll welcome you to one of our skyboxes for a delicious lunch. Want to learn more about the monumental brewery? We’d be happy to take you on a short tour through the historic brewing and machine halls, old grain silos, meeting rooms, office spaces, and lofts.
