How to get to Château Varoy
Château Varoy
104, rue de la Molignée
5537 Anhée, Warnant
A better climate starts with reducing our CO2 emissions, among other things. At the same time, we as a society cannot (yet) avoid all CO2 emissions. Outward Bound tries to contribute to a more sustainable world, so we invite you to consider public transportation such as the train, biking, walking, ... when travelling to château Varoy.
TRAIN
The nearest train station is Yvoir, on the opposite side of the river La Meuse. From the train station in Yvoir, it is a 4km walk to Chateau Varoy.
Hiking tip: after crossing river La Meuse, continue your hike via the walking path RAVeL L150 instead of following the rue de la Molignée (see red line on the map below). It’s not only more pleasant, but also safer.
The RAVeL L150 crosses a couple of streets: the rue de la Molignée, rue Maison de Pierre and rue de la Gare. When the RAVel L150 crosses the rue de la Molignée again (for the 2nd time - close to the start of the railbikes/ “draisines”), turn to the left on the rue de la Molignée. You will reach the main entrance of Chateau Varoy after about 200m (number 104).
CAR
The current GPS systems will lead you straight up to the main entrance of the Chateau. You can park your car on our domain (in front of the gate, on your left). You will find the main entrance at the back of the Chateau.
If you decide to come to Château Varoy by car, we offer you the possibility to compensate your CO2 emissions locally, by investing in the preservation and care of our Natura 2000 site. With CO2 offsetting, we actively promote biodiversity, forest conservation and forest protection at Domaine Varoy, and forêt de la Creûte at Anhée.
