Working Towards a Green Key for Château Varoy

At Outward Bound Belgium, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility are at the heart of everything we do. We take our responsibility towards the environment, society, and the economy seriously, and we actively integrate sustainability into our programmes, our daily operations, and our locations.

Château Varoy, the homebase for most of our programmes, plays a key role in this mission. To strengthen our commitment to sustainability, we are working hard to obtain the Green Key certification for the château.

Green Key is an internationally recognised quality label for environmentally responsible (tourist) accommodations. Achieving this certification is part of our broader sustainability strategy and highlights our commitment to responsible and future-oriented action.

We are currently preparing and implementing the measures needed to meet the criteria. From saving energy and water to waste management and sustainable purchasing: step by step, we’re building a greener Château Varoy - ready for future generations.
