Château Varoy Awarded the Green Key

At Outward Bound Belgium, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility are at the heart of everything we do. We take our responsibility towards the environment, society, and the economy seriously, and we actively integrate sustainability into our programmes, our daily operations, and our locations.

Château Varoy, the home base for most of our programmes, plays a key role in this mission. We are proud to announce that the château has been awarded the Green Key certification.

Green Key is an internationally recognised quality label for environmentally responsible (tourist) accommodations. Receiving this certification is an important milestone in our broader sustainability strategy and highlights our commitment to responsible and future-oriented action.

This achievement reflects the many efforts we have made – from saving energy and water to waste management and sustainable purchasing – all with the goal of building a greener Château Varoy, ready for future generations.
